over two decades ago, roland leesker would play and produce with artists that are legends today. slaving away with ricardo villalobos in his living room, creating loops with john selway at new york s satellite basement, working as a light jockey for joe jam and marc spoon, cooking the heat together with cajmere and ata at the wild pitch club, or running various record shops around the globe. since then, he�s invested much of his time, knowledge, heart and soul into electronic music to further the scene and support the art. now, he�s returned to the studio with his production partner philipp maier also known as sante to bring you a new instant classic, �my warehouse� in a way, you could say �my warehouse� has been in the making for 25 years. in that time roland leesker has studied the music, gathering inspiration from the sounds, people and experiences along the way and putting them all together to create his perfect sound. �my warehouse� is a bass-laden house killer, with intense kicks and a gritty, in-your-face bassline.

with four original tracks from chris carrier, this new ep is based around the original detroit vibe, with a hint of acid. the tracks all take their titles from famous nuclear devices, giving the music a foreboding overtone. rds-1 was the first weapon developed by the russians during the arms race of the early 20th century. the track is deep, driving and morose yet full of life. trinity was the codename of the very first nuclear test in 1945, this track is a shivering acid beast, minimal and absorbing. bwr 3 takes its name from one of the reactors at the doomed fukushima plant, subtle elements of funk flow through this restrained number. lastly comes chicago pile 1, the worlds first ever nuclear reactor, and a track that embodies the ominous possibilities of such an invention.

vanguard sound follows up on guerilla soul�s self-titled ep with label co-head chris mitchell delivering feng shui flow. feng shui flow is an exploration into deep harmonic textures in the form of three distinct offerings. a1 primordial gravitational waves- as the name suggests, inspired by the possible discovery of gravitational waves believed to be reverberations of the big bang. staccato bass and drums provide the heavy background for a pulsing bass wave, accented by synths and chords conjuring up visions of interplanetary manifestation. b1 eurínome- melancholic and intensely emotive chords and bass layered with intricate drums to paint this impression of the mysterious water goddess. b2 4th density- a synth heavy offering with several layers of bass, string like patches, and a sprinkling of choral sounds driven by a pair of kick drums into a plane of telepathy, harmony and ascension.

next up on !organism is a bravely entitled ep from german producer chris colburn complete with remixes from petter b. colburn, who runs his own label rohmaterial, has been making heavy techno since 2005 on labels like 8 sided dice, decoy records and driving forces and this summer is to head out on tour across europe. this new ep shows he is an innovative talent with plenty to say for himself.

following his lotus s7ven album with hector moralez, chris carrier delivers his first full length since 2010 s gosse de paris double-pack. a staple for the french robsoul label, carrier now finds himself in holland writing lps for slapfunk records, a label launched in 2012 that s so far released music from a host of emerging house heads. carrier, now slapfunk s marquee artist, delivers a full listen of smooth and sweet deep house with a slight touch of abstract perlon-isms and creative, almost industrial, sound designs - and a release that ll put slapfunk on the map at that.

when two talented international producers such as tato and andrew grant get together and join forces, not even superstition that could surround the ominous 13th mallorcan tato - head of the label isgud - and yankee andrew grant are two of the main players for the ibizan club dc-10 and the well known italian party circoloco. oblack - the label from los pastores - united them on this ep and the result is.. carry on reading. the point is that with rewayna, tato, and with the collaboration of the tech master andrew grant, he gives a new twist to this underground house without concesions that characterize his sound.

imagine cocoon would be a big international football club chris tietjen would be definitely one of the talents coming out of the clubs very own player development program. and he has been pushed step by step to this point to stand on his own feet.
